What is the design brief?
A design brief is a general statement of what you are going to create, why you are going to create it and who you are going to create it is for. It provides the project details so that you, your team or anyone can create it. *In the ‘real world’ generally, someone else will be doing the work and you want them to create exactly your vision. A design brief establishes clear expectations between a client and the design team.
In this case you are will be doing all the work yourself and don’t have to communicate to anyone, but you need to write one anyways. Why? It is very important that you to know the direction you are going, so you don’t waste your time. Just writing it down helps iron out some of the kinks and make sense of the project.
